Linger turns a bunch of YouTube links into a shareable playlist. Anyone with the link just sees your videos and nothing else.

Type a name into the box at the top of your dashboard and hit "+ New playlist."

Open a playlist, click "+ Video," and paste a YouTube link. The title fills in on its own, but you can change it before saving.

Drag a video by the ⠿ handle to reorder it — the list shifts to show exactly where it'll land. You can also focus a handle and use the arrow keys. Click a video's title to open it straight to that video on the watch page. "Edit" lets you change its title, link, or which playlist it's in. "Duplicate" copies a video into a different playlist without removing it from this one.

These are set by whoever's watching, not the playlist's creator, and they live on the watch page itself. Autoplay starts the next video a few seconds after one ends. Repeat 1 loops whatever's currently playing instead of moving on. Random picks a different video from the playlist instead of the next one in order. Your choice is remembered for that playlist the next time you open it.

Each playlist has its own link. Your dashboard also has one link that shows all of them together. Nobody needs an account to watch.

Previous and Next skip between videos, Fullscreen expands the page. Escape always exits fullscreen — browsers don't let a site stop that — so there's a quick button to jump back in if that happens.

Email and password, or Google if you'd rather not set a password.

The sun/moon icon switches light and dark mode. The ☰ menu next to it holds this guide, "Install app" (adds Linger to your phone or computer like a normal app — on iPhone, use Share, then Add to Home Screen instead), and signing out.

"Delete account" is in the same ☰ menu. It removes your account, every playlist, and every video permanently — there's no undo, so make sure before you confirm.
